Heather Hernandez-Sedillo has been a passionate member of the equine-assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) industry since 2004. She is the co-founder of Reining Strength Therapeutic Horsemanship, a PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Center (PAC) in Richmond, TX. Heather is a PATH Intl. Advanced Instructor, lead certification evaluator and site visitor for center accreditation. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in social work from Baylor University and a master’s degree in education in community counseling from Texas Tech University. Heather recently co-authored a textbook for the EAAT industry: The Comprehensive Guide to Equine-Assisted Activities and Therapies, which is the first peer-reviewed textbook of its kind.

Liesa M. Persaud, PT, DPT, PCS, CKTP, is a licensed physical therapist with 26 years’
experience in the field of adult and pediatric therapy. Additionally, she has educated health care
professionals, both nationally and internationally, in advanced treatment techniques, specialized
practical training and consultative services. She has worked in a variety of settings, including
private pediatric and adult clinics, schools, private homes, hospitals and long-term care facilities.

Rachel Royston is the executive director of Turning Point Ranch Association, a PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Center in Stillwater, OK, and has been a PATH Intl. She served as herd manager for Agape Therapeutic Riding in Indiana for three years for a herd of 20. Rachel has presented at the PATH Intl. Conference three years on miniature horse programing and training as well as mentoring instructors-in-training.
McKenzie Hindman Oefelein is a PATH lntl. Certified Registered Instructor who has served

Georgetown, TX, for 19 years, serving first as the first volunteer coordinator and then as a PATH

the honor of working with Veteran programing, which includes classes for Veterans, service
members and their families. Camp Courage is very dear to her because the campers seem to
have a special serving spirit like so many of their parents. Additionally, this camp involves many of
Veterans volunteering to make the camp happen! Heidi has a passion for her family including her
hubby, her three grown kids and her grandkids—all of whom are under the age of two! She also

Andrea Suk joined the Zarrow Center in 2016 as a Doctoral Sooner Scholar. Andrea obtained her
bachelor’s degree as a learning behavior specialist from Bradley University. She has taught in
both Illinois and Arizona as a high school special education teacher where she also quickly
developed the role of preparing students for careers after graduation. Upon completing her
master’s degree in transition through the University of Kansas, she became a transition specialist
in Texas. During this time, Andrea completed more than 150 transition plans for students in both
high school and middle school settings. Andrea has received distinct recognition for her
leadership as the ACE (Architecture, Construction and Engineering mentor group for high school
students) mentor of the year in Phoenix, the Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year (Glendale, AZ), and is
a Target Grant Field Trip recipient. Andrea is also a PATH Intl. Certified Registered Instructor.
Faye Autry-Schreffler was a secondary transition education scholar and finished her second
master's degree at the University of Oklahoma, December 2016. Faye obtained her bachelor’s
degree from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA, in 2003. She then served six years active duty
in the United States Air Force, where she was an airborne surveillance technician aboard the E-3
Sentry (AWACS). During her service to her country she earned her first master's degree in human
relations from the University of Oklahoma in December 2010. After Faye became a disabled
veteran, she wanted to continue to serve her community as a teacher. She then went through the
Troops to Teachers program and became certified to teach severe and profound disabilities, mild
and moderate disabilities, secondary level in English, U.S. history, OK history, government and
economics. Faye then taught special education for several years at both the middle and high
school level before she was accepted full time into the University of Oklahoma's doctoral program.
Faye also owns and runs a cattle and horse ranch with her husband by Lake Thunderbird.

E1, Secondary Traumatic Stress: The Dangers of Not Taking Care of YourselfKatherine Anne Scott"Kat," has a master’s degree in Clinical Neuropsychology, as well as certifications and state licenses for psychometry and counseling. She recently obtained her PATH Intl. TRI certification and works at two independent practices, providing therapeutic riding lessons and equine-assisted psychotherapy. She works with clients who present with a variety of issues, but she especially likes to work with people with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and dementia. She has two dogs, one cat and two apricot dun paint horses, and would eventually like to own her own private practice.

E2, “Blame it on my age?!?!” Lyndi Gilliam, DVMDr. Gilliam was raised in Wyoming. She has shown horses her whole life, most recently working cow horses; which is what brought her to Oklahoma. Once she was here she just couldn't leave so she stayed for her undergrad and DVM degrees at OSU. Dr. Gilliam went into a mixed animal private practice in Dalhart Texas for 2 years before returning to OSU for her residency and Ph.D. She completed her residency and became board certified in Large Animal Internal Medicine in 2006. In 2012 she completed her PhD in Veterinary Biomedical Sciences studying the effects of rattlesnake venom on the horse's heart. Her current research includes envenomation and methods to treat it, equine herpes virus, Corynebacterium pseudo tb / Pigeon Fever, and analgesic protocols for chronic pain in the horse.

Jen Donahue has been involved in the EAAT industry since 1993 and is employed by Equest, a PATH Intl. PAC, and currently serves as its specialties program and community outreach coordinator. She has served as Equest's head instructor and education coordinator, supervising, lecturing and mentoring in the bi-annual PATH Intl. approved training courses. Jen has been fortunate to have worked with five therapeutic riding centers and started one from the ground up. She is a PATH Intl. Certified Advanced Instructor, Certified Driving Level III Instructor, a PATH Intl. Mentor and Certified ESMHL. Jen is a lead faculty member for PATH Intl. Onsite Registered Level Therapeutic Riding Instructor workshops and certifications, and associate faculty for PATH Intl. Therapeutic Driving workshops and certifications. She is currently serving as chair of the PATH Intl. Region 8 Leadership Team. Jen serves on the PATH Intl. Accreditation Sub-Committee and the PATH Intl. Driving Sub-Committee. Jen is the president of the Lone Star Therapeutic Equestrian Network board, which provides continuing education opportunities for therapeutic riding professionals. She has been involved in planning the Region 8/LSTEN conferences for 14 years. Jen has a passion for teaching the teachers.

Lili Kellogg is the CEO of Equest, a PATH Intl. PAC in Dallas, and has been involved in the therapeutic riding industry since 1987. Before taking the helm at Equest, she served as the executive director of SIRE in Houston, the director of ManeGait Therapeutic Horsemanship in McKinney, Texas, and the program director of Equest. Prior to moving to Texas in 1984, she served on the faculty in the Equine Management Department of the University of Minnesota Technical College, Waseca. Lili, who received her BS degree in animal science from Colorado State University, is a PATH Intl. Certified Master instructor, accreditation site visitor, ESMHL, and a riding certification faculty/ evaluator. She has coached equestrian teams at national and international levels, including Team USA at the 1996 Paralympics. Lili has served on numerous boards, committees and task forces and was the 2002 recipient of the PATH Intl. James Brady Professional Achievement Award, the highest honor in the therapeutic riding industry. Lili is currently serving on the PATH Intl. Board of Trustees.

Andi Holland has worked in nonprofit management for over 30 years. She mentored with Savannah Station TRP in 2014-2015 while becoming a PATH Intl. Certified Instructor. In 2014 the Oklahoma Chapter of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Professional Association awarded Jane the Herman Prescott Award. This award recognizes a professional who has excelled in assisting women and minorities in the advancement of their careers within the Boys & Girls Club movement. In October, 2015, Jane was recognized by the Journal Record newspaper as one of 50 Women of the Year in the state of Oklahoma.

Charla Ann Story was born into a horse and musical family where showing horses and playing music was the norm. Her mother introduced her to training principles and to the therapeutic riding industry where she remains today. She holds a master's degree in education and is a PATH Intl. Certified Registered Instructor, mentor, as well as a CHA Master Instructor and Clinician. She is the founder and director of C-Bar Horsemanship Therapeutic Riding Center, a PATH Intl. Member Center in Shawnee, OK, specializing in equine-assisted learning, adaptive physical education, training and schooling horses, instructor-in-training programing, Veterans' program, and collaborating with local universities and their student/volunteers. At Victory Therapeutic Center, a PATH Intl. PAC in Roanoke, Texas, Charla teaches therapeutic riding classes, a senior adult class, a mentorship program, a Veterans class, and a class for women rescued from human trafficking. In between teaching, she plays upright & electric bass with Steve Story Music Co., her husband's company.

Deborah Manasco is a lifelong equine enthusiast and has competed, coached, judged and taught horsemanship in various settings for more than 40 years. Retired from full-time law practice, she practices with the Alabama Legislature during the annual regular session and teaches therapeutic horsemanship part-time at Storybook Farm in Opelika, AL. She is a PATH Intl. Certified Registered Instructor, mentor and site visitor.
Jodie Webb is the Colors of Hope founder and international director. Rodeo was a way of life during her childhood and adolescence. As a young child she became a victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking, but in the midst of her pain, rodeo and a ranching way of life gave her the gift of the equine. Horses played an intricate role in her life and God used them to provide comfort and healing on her journey to restoration. The pain of her abuse is now a story of redemption, and Jodie believes that every female who has suffered from the emotional torment caused by sexual abuse and sex trafficking can be restored by connecting God, equine and this program.

Jerri has served on the Board of Directors of Savannah Station in El Reno, OK since January of 2016. She is the Grants and Division Manager of the Financial Assistance Division of the Oklahoma Water Resources Board. Prior to working for the OWRB Hargis owned and operated a feed store in Yukon, OK. She also managed her own venture capital company, as well as provided management for other venture capital companies across the State of Oklahoma, which helped provide financing for start-up companies under the Oklahoma Rural Venture Capital Act. She hold a Professional Human Resources certification and formerly served as the Vice-President and Human Resources Manager of Capital West Securities, a full service brokerage firm. Her love for horses and children is her drive to serve on the Savannah Station TRP Board.
